Forbes has named Utah the best state for business for the past 3 years. This is contributed by Utah’s low cost of living and unemployment rate of only 5.8%. Utah’s GDP per capita, and employment rates are higher than the nations average, and are on the rise. Major corporations such as, Goldman Sachs, IMF Flash Technologies, eBay, and Twitter have all expanded their operations to Utah, and more continue to do so. This is credited to Utah’s low corporate tax rates, one of the lowest in the nation. Therefore, companies can create more job positions for us!
