Ladies and Gentleman, Boys and Girls, I bring you the latest and greatest Mid-Century Modern Revival located in the heart of The Cove.
When I walk through this home I can’t help but say to myself… OH REALLY OH YEAHH! – Like, this place is stellar.
Olympus Cove has been one of our favorite neighborhoods to play in over the years, and we have been involved in a double-digit number of renovations in this hood. Why is this area so cool you might ask? Where do I even begin? Nestled into the mountains, this fantastic location provides stunning views, quiet streets and best of all- a large number of Mid-Century Modern homes.
This property in particular, screamed “revive me” when I first walked through it. It was a delight to find hardwood floors throughout the main level of the property. Although, I personally would have kept the red shag carpet 😉 (seen here). Take a look to the ceiling and an eyeful of awesomeness happens, tongue and grooved hardwood ceilings sit atop the exposed beams holding this little gem up. The roof has that classic Mid-Mod “scissor” pitch to it allowing the ceiling heights in the home to vary in a classic modern style.
The list of upgrades will cover essentially everything once this place is all wrapped up. New electrical, plumbing, flooring, tile, cabinets, fixtures and much more! One of my favorite upgrades of this revival is the master suite. The home originally had 3 bedrooms on this main level. It has now been converted into a master with an enormous walk-in closet and a bathroom to blow your mind.
