I got started in real estate in 2006. The first thing I did when I decided I wanted to dive into real estate was get training. My first seminar was a small one that was about $1,000 to attend. pas kësaj, I knew I was going work in real estate in one form or another for the rest of my life and no one could stop me. After that I enrolled in a 5 day, 10 hour a day, intense training that cost $5,000. My point of telling this story is that if you want to be successful in this business the first step is training. It is also part of an ongoing process. I invest in myself and go to one new training every 3-4 months and spend 10% of my income on training.
Most of the national trainings aren’t cheap, but lucky for you local training is cheaper and actually can be more beneficial. You gain local knowledge, network with local investors and can build a local “dream team” all in one day.
If your in town this weekend there is a super cheap local training that you should attend if you are interested in real estate at all. The training is on Real Estate Remodeling 101.
The 3 main things covered are:
1. How to determine rehab for buy & hold vs. a fix & flip!
2. How to increase your value the most by changing layout!
3. How to maximize renovations in today’s economy!
The cost of this is pennies compared to what I usually pay for training. $149 for members, $10 for guest, dhe $169 for non-member with $50 for guest. To register go to www.slreia.com and click on the non-member payment button.
