With the recent temperature declines around our state, it may be difficult for some to truly accept that summer is just around the corner. But with next week’s forecast predicting sunshine throughout the valley, it seemed like the ideal time to share a collective list of our team’s favorite, and neighboring, recreational sites.
This list is beautifully complimented with a series of corresponding photos for each location listed below; making it easy for you to vicariously experience each site via some pretty incredible shots taken by our ever so talented photographer and team member, Colton Marsala!
Bell Canyon:
The Morning stroll up Bell Canyon can get the heart rate going, and the adrenaline pumping. When you mention that Salt Lake City is conveniently located next to amazing hikes, they are talking about this one. Ուղղակի 18 minutes from Downtown Salt Lake City this stroll will bring you to a series of lakes and unbelievable waterfalls… The hike to the second falls and lake is like the never stopping stair master but the views and cool mist is well worth every stair master step that you go up. This is perfect for a nice morning or evening stroll, and watch out for baby rattle snakes… I hear their bites are the worst!

This isn’t a well kept secret, but is an unbelievable evening hike that I would recommend for all ages and sizes! The views of this beautiful mirrored secret lake is one worthy of being on a visa credit card. You can make this trip into a amazing after dinner hike and check out all of the wild life while you are at it. I cannot remember a time that I didn’t see a moose while I was up there. Oh by the way did I mention the picturesque views?

The Weekend Warrior. This bad boy is one that I can see from my office desk, and it continuously calls my name on the daily. We enjoy this nice exposed jot up to almost 10,000 ոտքերը, and is dog friendly! We turn this nice little hike into a team building activity, and enjoy the views of our unbelievable city that we fall in love with over and over again.

When you say that you are going for a little hike, you may not want to go on this one. This bad boy is not the longest hike, but it sure likes to kick your but. The butt kicking is worth it because you feel as if you are going into a Jurassic Park Movie once you hit the crest and overlook this unbelievable lake with Sundial Peak in the background
