There’s definitely an art to drinking a glass of beer or wine that I think sometimes gets lost in the shuffle of 5 p.m. happy hours or Friday night parties. A good beer or a good bottle of wine is almost like a meal, something that was crafted with total precision and care off a who-knows-how-old recipe. Rather than just throw them back one after the other, why not take the time to actually savor whatever it is you’re drinking? Բարեբախտաբար, those living in Salt Lake City have no shortage of beer and wine tastings available to them, where you’ll have the opportunity to try out and sample tons of different, new and unique beverages.
So if you’re looking to expand your taste horizons this winter, here are a few events worth checking out, courtesy of Salt Lake City Weekly:
- Martine Cafe is hosting a “Small Plates, Big Glass” wine dinner this week, հինգշաբթի, հունվար 16, pairing the wines of the Obsidian Range Vineyard with some tasty appetizers to go with them. The cost is $50 per person, but the price of admission gets you three glasses of wine and three plates of food each, which is not too bad of a deal.
- Snowbasin Resort is having its second annual Brewmaster’s Dinner on Friday at Earl’s Lodge, with selections from the Uinta Brewing Company. Համար $60, participants get four “from-scratch” meal courses, each one complete with a craft-brewed Uinta beer. Sounds like a great way to wind down after a day of hitting the slopes!
These are just the tip of the iceberg, plus there are plenty more cool festivities to take advantage of in SLC this winter beyond just beer and wine tastings. But the only way to find out is to see for yourself! Let a Salt Lake City real estate agent from Muve Real Estate show you around town to all of the coolest homes for sale.
