Gradeer hierdie post

There’s no shortage of perks for living in Salt Lake City, but one of the higher items on the list has got to be all the incredible ski resorts nearby. Whether you’re a veteran who looks forward to shredding every winter, or a newbie looking to make your first tracks, there are plenty of top-of-the-line places around SLC.

If you’re anxious to get out there and ski or board this winter, here some of the best runs you’ll find within an hour’s drive of Salt Lake City:

hoë

Sorry boarders, you’re out of luck with this oneAlta is skiers-only. But if you do have a pair of skis on you, slap ’em on and check out this place over in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Like Snowbird, Alta gets way more powder than most other resorts thanks to its terrain. That geography also means steep runs for the advanced skiers, though beginners and those who find themselves in between will find plenty of trails they can enjoy. Alta is a skier’s ski resort, so don’t expect too much in terms of nightlife, just great snow!

Canyons Resort

By far the biggest ski resort you’ll find in Utah, Canyons stretches over eight mountains! For skiers and boarders who like to shred or even just explore, there’s no way to get bored here. And unlike Alta, this place has tons of things to indulge in when you’re taking a break, with a slew of villages and condos and top-shelf restaurants like The Farm.

If you want to make the most of your winter, SLC is where you need to be. An agent at Muve Real Estate can show you some great houses in Salt Lake City, all close to these and other great ski resorts.
