Salt Lake is one of the fastest growing metropolitan economies in the world, and one of the few cities in the nation that has almost fully recovered from the recession. Forbes has named Utah the best state for business for the past 3 years. This is contributed by Utah’s low cost of living and unemployment rate of only 5.8%. Utah’s GDP per capita, and employment rates are higher than the nations average, and are on the rise. Major corporations such as, Goldman Sachs, IMF Flash Technologies, eBay, and Twitter have all expanded their operations to Utah, and more continue to do so. This is credited to Utah’s low corporate tax rates, one of the lowest in the nation. Therefore, companies can create more job positions for us! The Salt Lake valley offers a variety of charming neighborhoods. Salt Lake is a hub of educated, diverse, and hip residents. Thriving, locally owned retail shops, galleries, restaurants, and coffee shops are scattered throughout pockets of the city. Most business centers and shopping are accessed easily by walking or biking, so there is no need for a car.

Utah is the place for any and all outdoor activity. From snow-covered mountains to red rock national parks, we have it all! The winter brings the best snow in the world, just a 30-minute drive from Salt Lake. You can ski, snowboard, snowshoe, snowmobile, or tube! In the warmer months almost anything is possible. From world-renowned rock climbing, hiking, biking, swimming, boating, fishing, and hunting, Utah never runs out of thrills. Other activities include: camping in national parks, staying on a houseboat in Lake Powell, and four-wheeling through sensational Moab. There is literally something for everyone.
