CommUNITY Day at the Muve Group is when we celebrate the people – the heart and soul of Salt Lake City by donating our time to help at a local charity.

We headed downtown to return to the Volunteers of America (VOA) Youth Resource Center to help and connect with homeless and at-risk teens.

Volunteers of America is a tireless nonprofit, serving over 10,000 people throughout Utah via programs targeting domestic violence, homelessness, mental illness and substance abuse.

Muve Group founders, Cathy and Greg Sneyd have an insatiable drive to give back to the community, and they’ve instilled that same sense of generosity into the entire Muve team. (This was Cathy’s second volunteer visit to the shelter this week and we couldn’t be more proud of her!).

Lending our hands at the VOA’s Youth Resource Center by serving delicious spaghetti to appreciative and hungry faces is the very least we can do. Not to detract from the important kitchen work, but we also assist the Street Outreach program by supporting initial emergency assistance and transformative counseling, education and job training.

Muve Group’s commitment to our monthly CommUNITY Day is critical to our continued success, because we believe investing in community is the equivalent to supporting your extended family.

So if you’re in the neighborhood today, tomorrow or when we return next month, visit the VOA Youth Resource Center at 888 400 West, or call 801.364.0744 to schedule some quality time helping those who need it most.

Gratitude is most definitely the attitude today and every day! #commUNITY
