Twilight Concert Series

One of the best parts about living in Salt Lake City is the summer nightlife. In particular, the Twilight Concert Series which is made possible by Salt Lake City Arts Council. What started out as a small, free-to-the-public concert series at SLC’s Gallivan Center, has erupted into one of the largest musical events in all of Utah. The Twilight Concert Series has become so popular that it has since moved to Pioneer Park and can consistently attract crowds of up to 45,000 attendees. During 2010’s Modest Mouse concert, downtown Salt Lake was overwhelmed by the number of patrons who attended. And the price for one of these shows? A paltry $5.00. Yes, five not fifty. Or, if you’d rather save even more money and see more shows, you can buy a season pass for $35.00. Eight shows for $35.00—we’re not sure if there are even music festivals that cost less than $50.00 per entry. But Salt Lake City, because of its awesomeness, wants to provide its amazing citizens with nearly free live music.

The 2014 Twilight Concert Series lineup is probably one of the most eclectic—and impressive—ones in recent memory. Below are dates with listed performers and links to purchase tickets online.
