Eat out in Salt Lake City this New Year’s Eve

Tomorrow’s the biggest night of the year! Get the champagne and those awkward-looking 2014 glasses ready, because New Year’s Eve is only a few short hours away and will no doubt kick off a slew of killer parties around the world – and there’s no shortage of these parties for those living in Salt Lake City! But for anyone looking for a quieter night in, and the thought of watching Ryan Seacrest count down to midnight doesn’t interest you, consider going out on the town for a fancy dinner at a top-notch restaurant!

Here are just a few of SLC’s best dining options – all with holiday-themed specials – worth spending your last hours of 2013 eating at:

By Invitation Only SLC

While not as exclusive as the name suggests, this place can be hard to pin down. It’s a “pop-up” restaurant, meaning it’s never in the same place! The only way to find out where it’ll be on NYE is to make a reservation. It’s worth the effort, though, with a guest chef serving up a four-course dinner and tons of other festivities to follow – including dancing, an art show and live music!

Finca

Here’s something a little off the beaten path. In line with the Spanish tradition of “Old Night,” which involves eating 12 grapes on NYE, Finca will provide diners with a six-course grape tasting menu, tapas included! And some grape-flavored drinks to go with the meal, of course.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar

This’ll get your mouth watering: A three-course meal with apps, salad and a filet mignon complete with lobster tail! Stomach growling yet? Make your reservation for this place, over on S. 400 West, today!
