Living in Salt Lake City is all about being healthy – with tons of trails to hike on or bike through, there’s no shortage of opportunities here for you to scratch your exercise itch. But part of healthy living is also eating well. Salt Lake has you covered on that front too, thanks to the opening of a new health food store, Real Foods.

For readers who have been around the state, the name should probably ring a bell. The Utah company already has locations in St. George, Orem and Herber City, each store offering their trademark hormone-free, antibiotic-free meat and eggs, alongside fresh produce and cleaning products. According to The Salt Lake Tribune, Real Foods is also the only grocer in Utah to sell raw milk.

And now our community here in Salt Lake will be able to reap these more organic offerings – they’re not just trendy, but good for you too. While the store technically opened yesterday, August 28, Real Foods will be celebrating the grand opening of its new Salt Lake City spot on September 28, “with music, food tasting and prizes.”

If you’re around, come check it out at 2209 S. Highland Drive. Open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays, the hours are pretty welcoming.

And if you’re not around, let’s fix that! There’s a ton going on around town with plenty to offer people of varying lifestyles – and the houses here are nothing short of amazing. Unlike most realtors, Muve Real Estate will completely renovate and update a home – the way you see fit – in order to best accommodate your family’s needs.
